morning arrives i open my eyes
i reach down, by my side
i grab my phone and i light up my screen
my twitter feed is the first thing that i see

i get up and i put on some coffee
sit down and i turn on my bigger screen
i go to work where i spend my whole day
touching and looking at screens

and it makes me so bummed out to say
i've got a problem with screens

i feel so empty all the time (except when i'm online)
and i just gotta fill the void (i turned into an android)
i'm not as chipper as i seem (electric sheep in my dreams)
so i take comfort in my screen

after work i go out
there's a band at bull's that i'm all about
but i don't watch them with my own eyes
i watch them through my galaxy s5

i get home about a quarter to three
sit down and i turn on my tv screen
i upload the entire set online
so i can check it out when i find the time
