The first time that I saw her I was sitting out in my car
On my break smoking a cigarette she came up to my window
And asked me if I knew where she might be able to find some tar
After an awkward moment I told her I didn't know what that meant
I'd never heard the term before "you looking for some reefer?"
She said "no man. I'm looking for some black tar heroin."
"How the Hell could you be so naïve?"
I told her to "stay the fuck away from me."
The next time that I saw her she looked like a normal shopper
Checking out the cell phones accompanied by a stranger clutching a box condoms she asked me if I could help her out
She says she needs something cheap to use in an emergency
She's only got about 50 bucks but I don't think that'd be enough
For the device, the service card, the condoms.
Maybe two, but not all three
I activate her phone and discreetly
Drop the condoms in her bag for free
The last time that I saw her I thought that she was looking smaller
As she stumbled through the store
Back to my department and made her way to a bench where customers could sit and take a break
She slumped down on the bench and I caught a whiff of a stench
She started convulsing foaming at the mouth as liquid shit
Dripped down her leg and formed a pool down on the floor
Paramedics came rushing in. I never saw her there again.
